A graduate of Harvard University, she holds an honorary doctorate from Fisk University, is on the faculty at Vanderbilt University, and credits Detroit’s Ziggy Johnson School of the Theater with being the most influential educational institution in her life. She is widely recognized as being one of the most significant voices in 21st-century African-American fiction.

Orie's three decades of writing include a host of clients, including the WNBA, NBA, NFL, MTV, WETV, BRAVO, BET, CENTRIC, OWN, VH1, and YouTube, Grammy Award-winning artists, political activists, and politicians, as well as a bevy of entrepreneurs and everyday heroes.

Golding is a writer and an editor whose work focuses on race, gender, popular culture, and entertainment. After earning a degree in print journalism from Hampton University, Golding began her career as general-assignment reporter for a small newspaper owned by the Chicago Sun-Times.

There, she covered everything from town-hall meetings to teen murders. A native New Yorker, Golding returned to her roots as an entertainment writer. Her work, both on-camera and in print, has appeared in prominent Black publications such as Vibe and Essence, as well as mainstream outlets, including Complex, the Associated Press, BBC, and Vanity Fair. Her essay, “Maintaining Professionalism in The Age of Black Death is . . . A Lot,” published on Medium in May 2020, has received 990K views to date.

Rachel Cargle is an Akron, Ohio born writer, entrepreneur and philanthropic innovation. In 2018 she founded The Loveland Foundation, Inc., a non-profit offering free therapy to Black women and girls.

Her umbrella company, The Loveland Group houses a collection of Rachel’s social ventures including The Great Unlearn, a self-paced, donation-based learning community, The Great Unlearn for Young Learners – an online learning space for young folks launching in 2022, and Elizabeth’s Bookshop & Writing Centre – an innovative literacy space designed to amplify, celebrate and honor the work of writers who are often excluded from traditional cultural, social and academic canons.

Rachel is a regular contributor to Cultured magazine, Atmos magazine and The Cut, and has been featured in The Washington Post, The New York Times, Forbes, Harper’s Bazaar and The New Yorker. Rachel lives & loves in Brooklyn, New York.

From, 2015 to 2017 Dyer served as the White House Social Secretary for the Obama administration. While at the White House, Dyer followed Obama's wishes and opened up the most popular house in the world to everyday people.
